In collaboration with the Constantine Zurayk Cultural Foundation, and as part of AUB’s 150th anniversary celebrations, the American University of Beirut (AUB) held a one-day seminar on October 31st, 2016.  “In Remembrance of Constantine Zurayk” conjoined with the opening of an exhibit of the Constantine Zurayk archival collection  donated to the AUB Libraries by the Zurayk family. The Opening Session  was followed by a day long seminar comprising two panels:“New Perspectives on Arab Archives: Challenges, Precariousness, and Potentials,” and “Nationalism, Culture, and Civilization” and featuring world class speakers. The seminar was closed by a keynote address delivered by Dr. Aziz al Azmeh, entitlted: "Reading Zurayk in the Twenty First Century".
