Dance

Dance occupied a distinctive place in the history of the Baalbeck International Festival. The ancient temples provided a dramatic setting for internationally acclaimed ballet companies and dancers, while the Festival also offered a stage for Lebanese folk traditions and performances rooted in local culture. Together, these forms of dance reflected the Festival’s broader vision: bringing international artistic traditions into dialogue with Lebanon's own cultural heritage.
