Early Commencement Ceremonies

In this section, the Archives and Special Collections Department presents highlights from significant early commencement celebrations that marked important milestones in the history of Syrian Protestant College and American University of Beirut. These include the First Graduating Class of 1870; the First Graduating Class in Medicine in 1871; Pharmacy in 1875; Commerce in 1902–1903; Nursing in 1908; and Dentistry in 1913, as well as the First Women Graduates in 1926.
