The oldest student magazines held in the Collections of Jafet Library date back to 1899: the four titles displayed here show the broad range of interests that fueled work on these magazines. Many titles boast a wide spectrum of disciplines and talents, covering topics as varied as humor, science, literature, in addition to covering academic and student life at SPC. The magazines were not only prepared by college students but also by students of the Preparatory Department. Two of the magazines below specifically include the name of the College prominently in their title: "al-Kulliyah" and "Zahrat al-Kulliyah", and some feature poems affirming the students' allegiance to the College, and expressing their pride in belonging to its student body.
