This bi-weeky “scientific, comic” handwritten publication was started by Musa Zakharia in 1899. The library holds 12 issues, which feature poems, scientific articles, but also puzzles and jokes.
A “scientific, literary, comic” bi-weekly magazine, characterized by its short articles and anecdotes. The first issue appeared on December 11th, 1899 by the Seniors of the Preparatory School. The editor was Fuad Salem, and all issues were hand written. The library holds 11 issues (1899-1990).
A weekly “scientific, literary, comic” magazine, edited by Selim El Khazen, and written by the mubtadi’oun, (Freshman) students. The first issue appeared on January 12, 1899, and the last of the 22 issues the library holds is dated July 6th, 1899. All issues are handwritten, and the format is folio. Besides its short and light articles, the magazine published sequenced novels such as “Shab al Asr” featured here.
The motto shown on the top of the cover page expresses students’ pride of belonging to SPC:
للاله الكريم نبسط كفا تستمد الرضا على الكلية
فهي تبغي انتهاج كل قويم وتحري الافادة الكلية

The second issue shown here is dated Monday December 18th, 1899, and features short news pieces, along with solutions to mathematical problems.
The motto shown on the top of the first page of each issue reads as follows:
نصراء الآداب لا زلتم شعـ لةَ فضلٍ تضيء منها البرية
فإليكم نزف خير عروس قد دعوناها "زهرة الكلية"
A bi-weekly, “scientific, literary and critical” magazine, issued by the students of “Al Moudrikoun” , (Juniors) and edited by Edward Afandi Shami. The Library holds 12 handwritten issues; issue 2 of volume 1, the earliest issue in the Library’s possession, is dated November 29, 1900). Most articles deal with students’ life around campus.
A bi-monthly, “scientific, literary and comic” magazine, edited by Selim Abd El-Ahad . The magazine had a policy not to publish political and religious articles:

The first issue was printed as a Folio, with subsequent issues being printed in A4 format.
The second issue of the first year is dated Monday April 9th, 1900. The Library holds three issues only.
A “literary, comic and critical” bi-weekly magazine, with some interesting illustrations. Starting with the 9th issue, a motto appeared on the top of the cover page: “God, Nation, Virtue”. Originally founded in 1901 by Isaac Atiyah , it counted among its editors many poets such as Amin Takieddine (who went to Cairo where he established Al-Zouhour magazine with Antoun El Gemayel) and Salim Azar, both of whom went to become prominent poets and journalists. Among the subjects it tackled was a typical life of a student at SPC, and it was often done in a witty, interesting and comparative manner: see the article featured here regarding a comparison of students’ life at SPC and at Jesuit schools.

The first issue is undated but the second issue appeared on January 12th, 1902 The AUB Library owns 4 issues (1902). The issue displayed here features a sequenced novel “Amore” translated from French by Wadih Haddad.
A “scientific, literary, comic”, bi-weekly review. Edited by Bashir Kassar (M.D. 1908) and Najib Nassar (B.A. 1906 and Registrar at the Preparatory Department). Its mission was to “spread knowledge and serve humanity”.
A colorful logo is drawn at the cover page of the issues reflecting the Ottoman era with the year drawn at the stop in Thughra style. The library holds issues from the magazine’s third and fourth years (1902-1903).
A monthly review edited by Mohamad Abdul Jabbar El-Khairi and illustrated by Hrand Utidjian. The first issue appeared in January 1906, and the library holds 8 issues. The May 1906 volume, displayed here, covers SPC’s Field Day (May 1906), and contains many photographs showcasing the games and the teams.
